Terms of Service

Last updated: August 7, 2026

These terms govern your use of Makerly, an application that connects a store on the OpoShop platform to an Etsy seller account. By installing or using Makerly you agree to them.

1. What Makerly does

Makerly lists products from your OpoShop catalogue on your own Etsy seller account, can keep the price and stock of those listings in step with your store, pulls Etsy orders back into your store, and can submit tracking numbers to Etsy. You remain the seller of record on Etsy. You are responsible for your Etsy account, the products you choose to list, and compliance with Etsy's policies for those listings.

2. Listing, pricing and stock are your decisions

Makerly never publishes a listing on its own: each listing goes live only when you explicitly publish it, from a preview showing the exact values that will be sent. Automatic price and stock syncing is off by default and applies only after you switch it on.

Makerly includes safeguards — a band that holds back unusually large price changes, a guard that prevents a failed stock read from ending a listing, and a circuit breaker that abandons a sync when the catalogue read looks incomplete. These reduce risk; they do not eliminate it. You remain responsible for the prices and quantities in your OpoShop catalogue and for reviewing what Makerly shows you before confirming a change.

3. Your responsibilities

4. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Makerly depends on third-party systems (OpoShop and Etsy) that are outside our control, including their rate limits and outages. When Makerly cannot reach one of them it is designed to do nothing rather than to guess.

5. Fees

Any subscription fee for Makerly is shown on the OpoShop App Store listing and billed by OpoShop. Etsy's own selling fees are charged by Etsy to your account and are not collected, handled or affected by Makerly.

6. Limitation of liability

Makerly is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or losses arising from a third-party platform's behaviour, including listing removals, account restrictions, or fee changes imposed by Etsy.

7. Termination

You may uninstall Makerly at any time, which stops all syncing immediately. Listings already on Etsy remain live under your account — Makerly simply stops managing them; you can end them from Makerly before uninstalling if you would rather they came down.

8. Trademarks

The term “Etsy” is a trademark of Etsy, Inc. This application uses the Etsy API but is not endorsed or certified by Etsy, Inc. Makerly is an independent application built by Found.

9. Changes

We may update these terms; we will revise the "Last updated" date above when we do.
