Your handmade work, in front of Etsy’s buyers.
Makerly lists the products from your OpoShop store that Etsy actually allows — handmade, print-on-demand of your own designs, vintage and craft supplies — keeps price and stock in step, and brings Etsy orders back to the store you already run. One catalogue, two storefronts.
Built for OpoShop · one catalogue, two storefronts
Etsy isn’t a general marketplace — and Makerly doesn’t pretend it is
Etsy allows handmade items, print-on-demand of artwork you created, vintage pieces at least 20 years old, and craft supplies. Reselling or dropshipping mass-produced goods is against Etsy’s policy and shops that do it are permanently closed. So Makerly is built for the part of your catalogue that qualifies — and it asks you to declare and confirm every single product before it is listed.
Makerly is for
- Things you make or design yourself
- Print-on-demand of your own artwork, with your production partner disclosed on Etsy
- Vintage items 20+ years old
- Craft supplies, tools and materials
Makerly is not for
- Resold or dropshipped mass-produced goods
- Print-on-demand of artwork you didn’t create or licence
- Pushing an entire catalogue to Etsy in one click — there is no such button
If most of what you sell isn’t on the left, Makerly isn’t the right tool and we’d rather tell you now than after Etsy closes your shop. Read Etsy’s policy →

Why Makerly
A second storefront, without a second job
Most makers who try Etsy give up on the admin, not the sales. Makerly removes the part that doesn’t scale: keeping two catalogues honest with each other.
List straight from your catalogue
Pick a product, declare what it is, check the preview, publish. Title, photos, description and price all come from the store record you already maintain.
Stock that stays honest
Sell three on your own storefront and Etsy knows. Hold units back with a buffer so the two shops can’t oversell each other.
Prices that cover Etsy’s cut
Add a markup so Etsy’s transaction and processing fees don’t come out of your margin — without keeping a separate price list.
Etsy orders in your store
Each Etsy sale becomes a real OpoShop order, so you pick, pack and ship everything from one screen — and your stock decrements properly.
Tracking goes back automatically
Mark it shipped in OpoShop and Etsy is told, the buyer gets their tracking number, and your Etsy metrics stay clean.
Variations Etsy recognises
Your colours and sizes map onto Etsy’s own variation values. When one doesn’t match, Makerly says so plainly instead of guessing and shipping the wrong thing.
How it works
Three steps, then it looks after itself
Connect your Etsy shop
Sign in to Etsy once from inside Makerly. You stay the seller of record with your own reviews, payouts and policies — Makerly never lists under anyone else’s shop.
Choose what qualifies
Browse your OpoShop catalogue and add the products Etsy allows. For each one you say what it is — handmade, your own print-on-demand, vintage or a supply — pick a category, and publish from a preview. One at a time, always.
Carry on running your store
Price and stock stay in step on their own. Etsy orders land in OpoShop. Tracking goes back to the buyer. You just fulfil.
On Etsy
A listing that looks like you meant it
Makerly builds a proper Etsy listing from your product record — your photos uploaded as real Etsy images, your description converted to the plain text Etsy actually renders, your tags, and every variant as a variation buyers can pick.
- ✓ One Etsy listing per product, with your variants as variations — not one listing (and one fee) per colour
- ✓ Category and variation values resolved against Etsy’s own taxonomy before you publish
- ✓ Your existing Etsy shipping profile and return policy
- ✓ Sold out in your store? That variation switches off on Etsy — with your say-so

In your admin
One screen that tells you the truth
See exactly where every product sits between your store and Etsy — drafted, staged, live, or paused — and what needs a decision from you. Makerly never quietly does the consequential thing and tells you afterwards.
- ✓ Preview the exact title, per-variant price and quantity before publishing
- ✓ Sync preview shows what would change before anything is sent
- ✓ Every held-back change explains itself in plain English
- ✓ Etsy orders, their stock, and their tracking, all in one list
Safeguards
Built to refuse, not to guess
Etsy has no test mode — there is one Etsy and it is live — so nothing here can be rehearsed. A mis-priced listing isn’t a warning, it’s a completed sale at that price. Makerly is deliberately cautious in the four places it could cost you.
A failed read is never “sold out”
A quantity of zero makes an item unbuyable and can drop your listing out of Etsy search. If Makerly can’t read your stock, it leaves the listing exactly as it is rather than assuming the worst.
Big price moves wait for you
A change beyond your safety band — the $49.99 that becomes $4.99 — is held and shown to you instead of applied to a live listing.
Nothing publishes on its own
There’s no “publish everything” button anywhere in Makerly — not in the app, not in the API. Each listing goes live because you looked at it and chose to, and each one costs you an Etsy listing fee, so that decision is yours.
Every product is declared, one by one
Before anything reaches Etsy you say what it is — handmade, your own print-on-demand, vintage or a supply — and confirm it. Print-on-demand won’t publish at all until your production partner is disclosed on Etsy, because Etsy requires it.
Reversible by design
Taking something off Etsy deactivates the listing — it keeps its views, favourites and reviews and you can bring it back. Makerly never deletes an Etsy listing.
Straight answers
What Makerly deliberately doesn’t do
Every one of these is a choice, not a missing feature. If one of them is a dealbreaker, better to know now.
It won’t list your whole catalogue
There is no bulk publish. If you want 300 products on Etsy you will approve 300 previews — because 300 wrong ones is a closed shop, not a bad afternoon.
It won’t decide what’s handmade
Makerly can’t know whether you designed the artwork or bought the item. You declare it, product by product, and that declaration is what goes on the Etsy listing.
It won’t invent a variation
Etsy has its own list of colours and sizes per category. If your option isn’t on it, Makerly blocks the listing and tells you — rather than picking something close and sending buyers the wrong item.
It won’t touch your Etsy-native listings
Listings you made on Etsy yourself are left completely alone. Makerly only manages what it created, and an Etsy order it can’t match to a product is handed to you rather than guessed.
It won’t collect your buyers’ emails
Etsy gates buyer email behind a separate permission and Makerly doesn’t ask for it. Mirrored orders use a placeholder address that can never receive mail.
It won’t sit between you and your money
Etsy pays you directly, into your own Etsy account, on your own schedule. Makerly never handles a payment, a payout or a card.
